Lunch & Learn - Gardening in Containers: A Unique Way to Plant Flowers & Vegetables

If you have a sunny deck, balcony, porch or driveway, you can grow a wide variety of vegetables, herbs and ornamental plants in containers.  This presentation by Maryland Master Gardeners will include information on container sizes and types, growing media (“soil”), watering, nutrients, planting and care, and instructions on how to construct your own containers.  With spring just arriving, this is the perfect time to attend this introductory gardening class.  An easier option than in-ground gardening, explore the benefits of such an endeavor and develop new skills.  No previous gardening experience is necessary.
