Family Support Groups

You don’t have cancer, but someone you care deeply about does.

In over 16 years of experience at helping people at HopeWell, we have learned many things but one of the most important is just this: as a friend or loved one of someone with cancer, you must also take care of yourself. Our Family Support Groups are an excellent place to start.

These group sessions facilitated by licensed mental health professionals are offered to the family members of someone living with cancer. These groups are offered at various days and times, usually in conjunction with the Participant Groups for people with cancer. Groups generally run one and a half-hours in length. A brief orientation meeting is required before joining a Family Group.
