Strength and Tone is a full body workout using weights and other resistance techniques to strengthen and tone the muscles. By strengthening the muscles, participants can help improve joint and bone problems, reduce muscular-based tremors, increase metabolism and reduce the risk of many diseases such as diabetes and various cancers. For participants going through or having completed cancer treatments, strength training can improve daily functioning and heighten confidence. The class is designed for all levels of fitness, including those who have had extensive surgeries and treatments. All levels are welcome.
