Through your financial support...

As a not-for profit organization, HopeWell Cancer Support relies solely on the generosity of private individuals, corporations and foundations. We believe that cancer patients and their families are under considerable stress and should not be charged for support services. As a 501(3)(c) non-profit organization, all gifts are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. (Federal Tax Identification number: 52-1742315)

There are many ways you can help:

  • make a  donation online through the secure website networkforgood.org:

  •  give a tax-deductible cash gift to HopeWell
  • give a gift "in memory," "in honor," or "for the speedy recovery" of someone whether or not they are a participant at HopeWell
  • make a generous gift of appreciated stock without being penalized for capital gains
  • have your gift matched by your employer if they have a Matching Gift Program
  • consider making a planned gift with HopeWell Cancer Support as the ultimate beneficiary of a gift annuity or charitable remainder trust for immediate tax benefits today and lasting presence tomorrow
  • include HopeWell Cancer Support in your estate plans with a bequest, which can be directed to a particular program
  • donate real estate or personal property and receive tax benefits representing full market value
  • include HopeWell in your United Way pledge as a "write-in"
  • consider donating pertinent items such as office or kitchen supplies.

Through your
gift of time...

Volunteers are the backbone of many of HopeWell's efforts and help create the welcoming character of our community. You might consider becoming an office volunteer at HopeWell Cancer Support and help with a variety of services including answering the telephone and helping with large mailings. Over 100 volunteers are largely responsible for our annual fundraiser, Reach Out And Run 5K Race and Fun Walk.

In 2005 our office volunteers alone gave 2,500 hours of service to HopeWell. Many volunteers are former participants in our programs who are eager to give back. Others have family members or close friends with cancer. And all volunteer from their hearts. Thank you volunteers!
